All dogs need a good home
At Leicestershire & Rutland Stray Dog Sanctuary, We always have a number of dogs who have come to us from various backgrounds. Some are from people who have lost their jobs or moved home to somewhere, where they are not allowed to have a dog. Sometimes it may be as the result of a marital breakup or the death of an elderly owner. All of these dogs are just the victims of circumstances and are all desperate to find new homes.
Dogs For Adoption
We also have dogs from council dog wardens and, if they are unclaimed after seven days, are offered for adoption. People usually want to rehome puppies or pure breed dogs. Although we do occasionally have these, generally they are more mature or larger dogs.
All donations are welcome.
We are a self-funding organisation and donations of food and blankets are always much appreciated. Cash donations through PayPal (Button Below) are the easiest way to help us. Please give generously for the care of all our dogs and the cost of running the sanctuary.
